1K Wine Walk in Crystal City - Saturday, February 26 and Sunday, February 27 - Crystal City Events
Just when you thought physical activity and wine couldn't mix... along came this fun event.
The Crystal City 1K Wine Walk will be this weekend (Saturday, February 26 and Sunday, February, 27) in the heart of Crystal City. The event will feature 45 different wines, in which walkers may try up to 20 different ones.
The event will also feature an assortment of cheeses and breads that walkers may munch on as they weave throughout Crystal City's confines.
Don't worry, this isn't really a race. It's just a great opportunity to get out and have some great wines in a festive environment.
The Crystal City 1K Wine Walk is sponsored by Washington Wine Academy, and will feature "heats" that start every half hour between 2PM and 5PM. Tickets may be purchased on Washington Wine Academy's Web site.
